Edtech Startup Looking for Students to Participate in a Pilot
Opportunities
Last Updated: 04/23/2018
We are an Edtech startup with the vision of giving all students access to mentoring to help them finish school and launch their careers. To summarize, one of the biggest unsolved opportunities in Edtech is delivering mentoring online; as networking/mentoring is the number 1 engagement request from alumni which schools have not been able to provide en masse (engagement = funding). Simply put, our vision is to help ALL students finish school and launch their careers by giving them ALL access to other students, alumni & employers as mentors. To do this we moved from traditional “role” based 1-1 matching (match.com) to a Facebook type self-serve “peer” mentoring social network with it’s own content engine to drive networking. Anywhere a community of people at the school want to help each other succeed, our peer mentoring application is their quick and easy solution. GOmentr is a white-labeled application, so it is the schools branding, network, content and data. So we are looking for students to participate in a pilot through the business school entrepreneurship center. If you are interested please connect with me or post a resource with your thoughts or experiences on mentoring.
